Tt Toughpower Cable Mannagement 750W PSU

Nice coolaler..I noticed you have the W0116RU with the 85°C capacitors. I just read a review on the W0117RU and it had the 105°C capacitors. It should be a more solid version.

Any chance you can get your hands on the Seasonic M12-700? :)

off topic: but can i ask which motherboard are you using sir coolaler?
on topic: really nice psu you got there, wish i could afford it though it's a little overkill for my power needs
-
hey coolaler, any way you could tell us how the rails are divided between the modular plugs? this is basically the only thing holding me back from buying this supply's cousin, the Xclio X14 750 watt.
i really don't want to take a power supply apart in order to figure out it's rails, lol. stupid way to void a warranty, imo.
XClio's not replying to my email either.
EDIT: after examining your pics a little closer it appears that 12v1 is main connecter 20+4 pin (mobo power), 12v2 is PCI-e x4, 12v3 is peripherals, and 12v4 is dedicated for SATA. at least, if you follow their connection diagram exactly. if you could confirm this...
EDIT 2: or is this supply only SLI not quad SLI? or is 12v2-3 PCI-e, and 12v4 peripherals? or maybe both? lol. i'm looking at pictures, you're the one with an already opened PSU!

Testing PSUs at 3.6Ghz Conroe -> Something we've all been wanting to see :)
Nice

I don't know how to interpret anything from the charts, but it is a good psu right?
-
I just got it. Runs my 3800+ and quad SLI just fine. :)
The cable management sucks though. The PSU's name is misnomer.
-
i nearly bought this PSU. Rats! should have read this thread earlier!
-
could someone please confirm rail distribution for me on these PSU's?
-
Would you recommend the TT 750w or the PC&P Silencer 610?

Madmat of Techgage is going to be reviewing one of these and he gave us an early look at rail distribution.....

After opening it up I've found the rails are distributed thus:
12V1 to the 4 pin 12V ATX (which are split from the 8 pin EPS)
12V1 & 12V2 to 8 pin EPS
12V2 to modular PCI-e connectors
12V3 to mobo ATX & fixed PCI-e connections
12V4 to drives
This means that if you've got a 4pin mobo the PCI-e cards have a dedicated rail and if you've got an EPS connector on your mobo you've got the option of running one card on the 12V3 rail along with the mobo.
What's more is that for quad SLI you can run a PCI-e adaptor to the drive rails, the fixed PCI-e and the modular PCI-e cables and spread the load out over 3 rails while keeping the CPU on it's own rail.
For those wondering it's a CWT built PSU.
I also have one of these PSU's (I actually bought it since the bastards at Thermaltake kept telling me they were going to send me one and never did) and will be load testing it some time in September.

finally, a quad-rail with a rail distribution that makes sense! yep yep, i'll be making a special order from XClio for the 850 watt version as soon as i can. is tt even making an 850 watt version?
