Wonder whats changed. No readme file and no info on the support site.
I hope they included the BIOS Profile Saving feature on this one. Someone report if you decide to flash, thanks :toast:
I don`t see any Profile
Thanks for the heads up, Ramguy. I'll flash this one later and see how it goes.
So this is about the 10th BIOS out there for the P5W and there's no data describing the differences??
What the heck is Asus doing with this BIOS "Du Jour" strategy.
They have yet to fix this mysterious Vcore issue.
no ES support removal i hope
I second That!!!Quote:

yes, but 0901 is not official, 0801 is.
anyone tried it yet ?
can anyone explain:
will x6800 retail post on 0504 shipping BIOS?
if it wont do i need a celeron to update to 0801?
thanx
0504 BIOS and higher will support the Conroes.
Be nice if they gave us some FSB enhancements with this new BIOS. Maybe Asus is having as much trouble as everyone else getting their hands on a retail conroe to do big testing on.
Flashed it, was going to flash to 0088 again but now it says that it's too old or might not be compatible with my M/B. Asus Update (windows app) says EEPROM doesn't match bla bla. Could they have implanted something so it's not possible to use betas anymore?
well i sure hope they didnt cause thats just meanQuote:

So do I with my 6400 ES .. everything's ok @3.1 ghz with bios 0065 ,and don't have other cpu to boot with if that one failsQuote:

so quiet here .. so, what about improvments with this 0801 ?
Is it me, or does the P5W DH bios update feel like Asus is saving on QC and passing the testing phase onto the people that buy their P5W DH board?
I hope they wont' start charing 5 dollars for a download next.
what is the Vcore problem????
I have the 0801 bios on my computer, and I see NO difference what so ever between these and the 0701.
I'll update if I find any issues.
