With a PA 120.3 and six yate loons, what's the best configuration if I put the rad on the case floor? I'm guessing push/pull so it would look like this:
Pull fan
^
Rad
^
Push fan
Case floor
And what size screws am I going to need for such a setup, and where can I get 'em?

6-32 iirc is the thread size. and 1.25" should be good (someone back me up here)
I just mounted Yates on a Stealth 240GT rad. 6/32" 1 1/4 inch work great.
1 1/4 will work too :)

grill > case > fan > gasket > rad > gasket > fan
For the opposite side of the rad (ie: the side with fans NOT against the case panel), be careful not to overtighten the screws... or you WILL puncture the core
which length if you have the 38mm fans...
You have close-cornered 38mm fans?? Never seen them before... 3.5 x 51.0
2 inch long for 38mm fans only if mounted with grill otherwise get little bit shorter than 2 inch for mounting the fans directly to radiator

Marci, how much deep can the screws go into the rad before puncturing the core? About a centimeter or so?
Yep - the one on the left in that pic. Without that gasket, the supplied l'il black screws will puncture the core. All rads are shipped from here with them, whether trade or retail sale. They're essential as they also provide the airtight seal between fans to prevent loss-air.Quote:

Screw length = [depth of fan] + 10mm generally (8mm for rad core clearance, 2mm for case/grill thickness)
If NOT going thru case/grill as well, then [depth of fan] + 8mm.
