Would you like to get at least 53K single card, stock clocks?

It is easily possible with Conroe :) And 60K single card on water is also coming very soon or was there already? :)

No tweaks really, just run on WinXP, Conroe @ 3.3Ghz, single XTX stock clocks

3dmark 2001 is very cpu intensive and those Conroes really kick butt! New records have fallen overnight! I remember mid 50k was the top record with athlon fx57, fx59, fx60 whatever and with conroe you can break 50k air cooled easy! 60k fell overnight with conroe and 70k is about to fall and thats with a bad overclocking conroe! Me and my friend discussed this and once the next stepping conroes come out, (up to)4GHz overclocks with the XE verson on air cooling(above zero C) will happen! 5GHz overclocks with phase change at -40c and mid 5GHz with dry ice or cascade! Does anyone even want to imagine what 3dmarkage a 5.5GHz dry iced XE conroe is gonna fetch?(paired with two x1900xt's) Here is a link to almost 70k with "only"
3.87GHz conroe? Either his is a bad overclocker or he doesnt have proper cooling.

Add another ~1.5GHz higher conroe clocks, higher fsb, faster ram, better ram timings, higher video clocks and what do we get? I will give you the honor of predicting. I made a prediction but I wont spoil it ;) I will just say one thing, how soon will the elusive 100k fall? Its a matter of when, not if!

Anyhow, I waited 1½ month for the board, after launch in the US, due a cap fell off, cold-chok :(

But now, I really need a new CPU, a guy, Lars, has passed me in 01SE, I just cant allow that ;)

Don't bother...I'll pass you as well :p: Yonah @ 3700 and single gtx should do the trick :D Woulda done it tonight, but I had a *slight* problem with a block of ice forming through the mobo +3/8" if closed cell foam + and 1/4" of plexi. I think I may have frozen all of the caps around the socket :wth:

But I've decided to stay calm with hardware until juli, however, I've been invited to a danish overclocking event... Some LN2 + DICE fun near Copenhagen :)

did you try running at 1024*768 with the same tweaks/clocks ?

640*480 is always slower here for 3dmarking

Wow. I'm giddy with excitement, these Conroe's sure do seem powerful.

And here I was flirting with the idea of buying an 0608MPMW not 5 minutes ago.

It never stops, does it, the desire to buy new hardware :(
