Anyway I took some pictures of my cat recently and as you can see in the example, they all look little overexposed do to bad lighting/crappy machine/unskilled photographer.
So, is there any way to edit this in PS to make it less overexposed. I have the old 7.1 version.
Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Yes. My 3 year-old Cybershot DSC P-72 3.2 megapixel camera definetely shows it's age. I wish there is a way to improve this picture. @cooper: I tried what you did but, honestly, I didn't like how the whites turned out so I'm looking for a way to eliminate the excess light while preserving the softness of the overall picture.Quote:
