It's ok by me :)
Be interesting to see your results and end application. Please post pictures as you progress.
compressor's motor input 705W
and i think ,it's better than mytek's compressor
Any updates on this?
my work is very busy ,so the time is not enough .
Looking nice :)
It looks like your on the right track, and doing a fine job of cloning the original AC-2 heat exchanger stack.
Nice work..I wish I had the time to build something :)
I thought that mytek's AC-2 was built for other uses then cooling a CPU ?
Those heat exchangers look very good man !
Scott you build tons of stuff LOL
Yeah much nicer in the "round" design. Always easier to fabricate a round HXC versus an oval one. I just didn't have much choice in my original AC-2 design due to space constraints.
Kang your work is very good, and the brazing looks excellent. Any previous refrigeration experience?
those coils are turning me on hahah
Nice going, kang-China, keep us updated.
mytekcontorls, is it ok to use plate HX for such projects?
I'm thinking of some unit to reach -100c on 300-400W heatload.
Already have experience with five SS builts, two with rotary compressors.
Did not decided about refrigerants, don't know yet where to buy them in Taiwan.
Very nice craftsmanship!!
copy-AC,today i think it's very hard ..:(
but ,i will keep my thing.
the TC to -140, is not easy

HI,
thanks evrybody. the copy AC-2, I can do the temp -131
is it working? please post more details.
Yes please more details (like how much load, what kind of charge, ect.). But so far it sounds like you are making very good progress
Thanks for the photos :) I like the coiled stack. What were you using to insulate the stack or are you leaving it uninsulated while testing?
Hi Chris. I'm guessing he stuffs the bag with loose fiberglass insulation, and then seals it shut to keep moisture out. At least this is what I've done when prototyping.
Kang looks like you went a bit bigger on the Phase separators, which is always good. And it looks like a very well built HXC stack. Any specs on the charge you used and/or the heat load?
Thanks mytek's praise. The Phase separators is my liking. The prototyping is from AC-3.:p:
Thanks everyone to see ,I'll to do well the copy AC'S-2 :welcome:
thanks everyone to leave word for my AC
Happy New Year
cheers
