I wanted to go with the Tygon black tubing. Its 7/16" ID and 9/16" OD. The wall is pretty thin. 1/8" Wall. The wall is pretty thin, im just scared the tubing might rip if i put it on the 1/2" barbs.
Is there any chance it will rip?

Should go on fine (with a little heat), but like RRR said 1/8in isn't very thick, it'll kink pretty quickly.
Should have gone for the thicker wall stuff.
it wont rip, but you have a TON of different things to worry about.
mostly cavatation, and also kinking.
Can't the thin wall collapse under suction from the pump?
I couldnt find any Tygon black tubing thicker then this.
Any1 know of any black tubing with thicker walls? 10/16 (5/8") Would be perfect.
I found that with clear tygon, but i really would like something black.
how about the clear with black feser (that is what i just ordered (7/16 10/16))? Or maybe go to 3/8 5/8 if you need smaller then 1/2 3/4? (Flow loss is not that big so temps shouldn't be that different).
Yeh you guys are right. This tubing totally sucks :( I cant go from CPU to VGA without it kinking lol. Damn, shouldve asked before i ordered.
Well, what about 1/2ID and 5/8 OD.
Damnit, i really just wanted 7/16" ID so i didnt need to use clamps. I guess i cant >_>
Yea, I'm using it aswell and its a major pain in the ass to work with.
Eh isnt 1/2ID 5/8OD still 1/8 thick? I used 7/16ID 5/8OD masterkleer on my build and it help up pretty well. But, I couldn't find any black Tygon in that size.
Is the mesterkleer black? If so! WTB link.
No sorry, but I believe I went with 3/8ID on 1/2 barbs before that, so that could work, but it was almost impossible to get it onto plastic barbs :P
I guess ima go witgh 1/2" ID 3/4" OD black tubing. But tygon is so expensive. $4 a foot!
however, i found PrimoFlex Pro LRT Black Tubing, its the same thickness, but only $2.25 a foot.
So, is it worth getting the tygon? Or is he primoflex good enough?
The wall thickness isn't 1/8" (3.2mm) but 1/16" (1.6mm)
That's too thin yes, personally I use Tygon 3603 7/16" ID and 5/8" OD (11.1/15.9mm)
Doesn't kink too quickly and fits snugly around 1/2" barbs
