I work for a company that makes some interesting equipment. This is my largest Cascade Refrigeration system so far. It is not yet finished. It uses two Vilter 8-cylinder compressors powered by separate 14.5-Lt Caterpiller natural gas engines. Check out these photos (sorry I know they are a bit blurry because of cheap cell phone camera).

Great to see proper industrial stuff here! Whats the purpose for this unit? Seperating co2? Will it be a conventional cascade or will it be an autocascade :) ?
What typ of heat exchangers will you use, plates or tube bundles?

It is a conventional cascade using Propene (R1270) in the warmer stage and Ethane (R170) in the colder stage. The system will be using a water-cooled condenser and has a design-point evaporator temperature of -65C. The cooling duty should be 190kW and will be cooling about a 50gpm flow of methanol used in a gas separation process that separates a mixture of hydrogen and carbon-dioxide into separated streams. It will use all plate-heat-exchangers (Large GEA units).

PS: I am also working on a smaller air-cooled system (about 30kW duty also at -65C) which will be a two-stage cascade with the colder stage an autocascade. I will show some pictures of this when it is further along.
I Like the American Flag on the units. I was starting to think we quit making cool things in the States any more.

if it is like here all the parts where made in china and just assembled here <_< We all need to take back our manufacturing and put it on home soil again, I am sick of aqll the low quality poorly made c*p out there now days!

The MONSTER cascade is being delayed. The highest priority is now my somewhat smaller (but actually more exotic) fully air-cooled Cascade/AutoCascade hybrid. As I mentioned above It will have 30kW cooling duty at -65C. I can post pictures of this one in a few more weeks (constuction is only now beginning).

These are a couple pictures of my cascade/autocascade hybrid. It has demonstrated good performance (25 kW duty at -80C). It use two 6-cylinder Copeland discus compressor of 128 m3/hr volumetric displacement each. The air-cooled condensers are on the roof the the trailer (they barely need to run in winter temperatures).
