nice chip. What vcore did you use?
~1.68 in BIOSQuote:

try it w/ LN2, and you have the chance to beat the WR (4.6ghz) :toast:
Very nice! :toast:
What week is it? What cooler and ambient were you running this at?
Great! The Son of The Father.
That's really nice clock's on air, congrats!
It's big difference between spi and ss clocks.
Try it on DI or even ln2 ;) .
Regards!
Is it me or is looks the SPi 1M time very long? 17 sec with cpu at 3.6 and ram 600mhz cas4 ?!?!
nice air clock on that low-cost chip :toast:
Do not compare to a 4mb chip in 1M, 4mb chips are much faster in 1M calculation.Quote:

the time aint the fastest that's for sure
sub 17s is within reach with cpu at 3400 and ram 450 4-4-4 on a 2mb chip
other than that, nice oc. I can't go over 390fsb on my e4300 no matter what vcore/vnb
@TheInVisibleGod
did u do the 1066 bsel mod and if you did what kinda gain in FSB did you obtain over 800?
With a Tuniq! ;)Quote:

basically allows your chip to boot at a default of 266*9 rather than 200*9. some have reported that this mod also helps in getting a higher end fsb .
Thanks Slay0r! ;)
You are welcome :toast:
may it help you push that chip further
very nice chip , stepping? and what voltage did it take for 3.6?
Impressive 445 on air (i test 2x4300 Q635/Q649 , max 425 on air and 475 under LN2)
Nice clocks man! Congrats. You are the first to beat me with the CPU on air ;) (got 3949 MHz on mine :P)
I also use the DFI RD600 board and i have done som kind of strnage observations. I would like to discuss them with you and see if you experience the same problem (after seeing you pi result, i guess you do).
I will send you a PM later on.

Update...

Next step will be watercooling and later sub-zero... :)
very nice.. :) I'm a DFI RD600 user also.. can you post your bios settings? thanks.. :D
He was getting max OC on air and you guys complain about Pi times =.= . The title isn't about Uber Pi times at 4Ghz on air, that thing is as flaky as a sheep on crack.
Even if I had to slacken every single timing possible to raise my CPU clocks, I would still do so. It's to see how far the CPU will go, tweaking and tightening can wait.
To OP: very nice clock, you beat my E6300 on normal air :P:. (not the freezing one -7 degree C like some lucky people among us have)
