The Swedish nature where he lives isnt so much to see in my opinion hehe, he barley got subzero temps during winter :D I should invite him to the north part where we got -48 sometimes :P

Kinc, I would be careful with that vgpu. To be safe, if i were you, i would only run that vgpu for short periods of time during benching sessions.

I've been trying this chip under some real cooling and Im sorry to say that netither dice or cascade will work. It seems that singel phase will fit perfectly though. ECT should have a unit on the way for me soon. With singel phase 3600MHz+ is possible. I ran SuperPI @ 3250MHz with only air :D
@ 3400MHz through 05 with defualt clocked cards gave me 17500. Game test 2 showed better performence than my FX-57 @ 3900MHz. Raw system power :D

That is one crazy dual core you have there.
Dual core scores about 1200-1300 points clock to clock versus a singel core in my tests in 03, as well as in 05 :) In game test 2 of 3d05 a 3100MHz dual core performce like a 3600MHz singel core. In game test 1 3100MHz performce like 3550MHz. The really nice thing is that gametest 3 that really aint that cpu limited gains a few more fps from dual core than i expected.Quote:

Why are you guys freaking out over the voltage? KIWI I think it was ran 1.9v or something into a 7800. I know Jason has done 1.8v. You won't get to the top with an "I better not go to high or it might fry at these "limits" people make up" attitude. You might not have the balls to do it but Kinc does. I've been away on a ski trip the last 8 days. Got home today. I will do a quick test with ln2 all over with the fx60 tomorrow. That is the last day I've got with the Gainward 7800 GTX512's, they want em back :( Hopefully I will get a few nice results on dual core before I have to return em. Atleast it will be very fun to play with these things under LN2. I got to admit that I have been thinking alot of the FX-60 in the slopes the last week :DQuote:

Yeah I'm kinda surprised that they want em back now after 1½ month. They look horrible and are really greasy. The sad thing is that they can handle -120C, booting in to win and all. Yeah it is the same, so I'm expecting no wonders. This is the first time I will have ln2 to bench the fx-60 with (back at the university). DICE were to cold with acetone, and the load temp is really bad without aceton. But from experice with DICE I'm expecting somewere around 3500MHz to be stable.Quote:

This coldbug really is to hard to handle. I just gave up when the system hang at the save screen before I could save. 8 hours straight and no complete (saved) round when running at desired clocks.

The cpu will do 3578MHz with really low htt (210x17).
Wish I had more time with the GTX512's... :(

I heard that there was going to be a new #1 mark05' tommorrow morning from someone who knows, and I thought for sure it was you. Maybe someone with dc and x1900's? What was the best score/speeds you could manage? DId you even bother oc'ing the cards along with the max OC you could get on the chip??

That sounds interesting. If that is the case my guess is that someone have gotten hands on a FX-60 that can handle cold better. From my experience today a FX-60 @ ~3500MHz would perform about the same as a 4000MHz FX-57.Quote:
