Hey mate, try 6-9-6 2133 with 1.7V and if it will do 32M pi.I'm awaiting your result to decide what kit i will buy.
1047Mhz 6-9-6-27 1T 1.68vDimm 32m Stable
http://img511.imageshack.us/img511/6...cas696271t.png
wow bro cas6 @2k+ , Can you do 100+ Blck to find max mem frequency ?
There you go. Now trim the 27 down to 24 and your set.:D
Max out 2200Mhz 6-10-10-27 1T Running with 3.4Ghz stock clock! Msi board doesnt like running 2133Mhz ratio at 100+ Bclock at 5Ghz very weird hope there a bios fix soon!
http://img24.imageshack.us/img24/323...z61010271t.png
writes dont seem that good, should be atleast 20k..
Its because am at 3.4Ghz! Am hoping Msi bring a better bios for memory! If not i will try Asus Maximus IV Extreme!
sorry thought u clocked your Chip, doh! Mind posting some screenys with a OC??
Trimming it down! Ashame am having issue with msi board i do think these will do 2133Mhz 6-10-6-24 1T 5Ghz
New test 6-9-6-26 1T 1.66VDimm
http://img511.imageshack.us/img511/6...96261tbest.png
wow thats more like it, 32m stable! Run linx also :D
Getting there now a few tweaks mainly in TRFC down from 120 to 90 with mem clocks rised abit!
I will try linx later!
http://img535.imageshack.us/img535/3...696261tama.png
Very nice, G.Skill has done it again! Oh and btw I simply adore that "Control Center" software that comes with MSI boards I suppose. Looks very clean and even allows ram timing tweaking, nice!
Just struggling to get it prime stable at the minute!
New windows install and back to older bios and finally there 1056Mhz 6-10-6-27 1T Linx stable! Just need to start upping cpu clock now and make ram abit tigher if i can!
http://img641.imageshack.us/img641/9...6106271tli.png
Nice Work out there..!!
?? VDimm ??
1.7Vdimm! Abit high! Ill see how i do later just had new bios!
Wow that look good CL
dude your chip is golden, Because i've seen so many other people using that same kit and cannot get cas 6 @ 2100.., Can u do 6/9/6?
Wow , 2100c6 :d
Thanks! I will update this thread when my new board comes Asus Maximus IV Extreme! Have kill one of the ram slot on the msi plus it killed one of my vertex 2 so i decided to RMA it and go for the Asus Maximus IV Extreme! I should get better results!:shocked:
nice now i cnt wait to get my new board! Just ordered a other set for 8GB!
Yesterday i odrered this kit to!o!Looking forward ..on them!!:D
Got those as well & love 'em.. best kit so far for my MaxIV.

still gotta tune timing and i think there more Mhz them yet!
Amazing Cas6 2232Mhz 6-10-6-27 1T 1.7v
http://img204.imageshack.us/img204/4...hz6106271t.png
Trying to find limit but this memory just keeps amazing me on this board!
Dam dude, I cant believe how well your dimms are considering they arent hypers.. Guess its your chip though.. If you could do 6/9/6 @ 2100-2200 im sure you'll see better results.. overall nice Results mate!
Thank mate have managed to get it abit higher 2141Mhz 6-10-6-27 1T
http://img706.imageshack.us/img706/7...hz6106271t.png
I can get 6-9-6-27 at 2133Mhz but its not has fast has 2241 6-10-6-27 1T Sandy bridge seems to love more Mhz!
Nice results  I think anything with Ripjaw in its name from G.Skill is just awesome stuff. I put the Ripjaw kit I was using in my 890FX build into my Extreme4 build to see what it could do and got my PC12800 up to 2154MHz, thats just stellar
ED - Oh and don't let the Asus CPU-Z throw you off, these results are done on my Extreme4 and verified absolutely stable with HCI Memtest. I might be able to use lower timings, haven't tried yet.
Ripsaws at the minute have gotta be the best kit for sandys! Am trying new asus bios 0089 at minute to see if i can better my score! Have notice a new setting in it Memory Bandwidth Booster does that make a big difference! Nice results Ket!
Bro20000,
Where did you get your 4GBXHD kit and does it have blue or black heatspreaders ?
Thanks
They have black heatsinks! I thought they would come blue has show on the website i got them from! Here the link!
http://www.memoryc.com/products/desc...nel/index.html
From here no doubt ;)
Recieved mine from ΜemoryC Today.

Ok,so does it matter the colour of the PCB?I have green others have black, same chips or?
My G.Skill Ripjaw kit isn't the kit bro20000 has, but the PCB on mine is green and they still got to 2154MHz, maybe more as I haven't finished testing yet. If thats anything to go by, I'd say no, PCB colour doesn't seem to particularly matter.
Who said that bro20000's are with black pcb??
Some Ripjaws have black PCBs, others green. I think alex was assuming as bros heatsinks are black the PCB is black too.
I said it earlier on in the posts! 5.3Ghz 2261Mhz 6-10-6-26 1T! Still scaling well! I dont think there is any different between black and green pcb!

There black on G.Skill website to with black pcb! http://www.gskill.com/products.php?index=374
Gah... I wanna play with my Extreme4 more now but the UEFI is too flaky :( Hurry up and get your arses back of your chinese holiday asrock and get back to work on UEFIs! :cord:
Greenn pcb on the state side...

I guess G.Skill just use whatever PCB they have available at the time then. Thats a bit sucky, you pay X amount more expecting to get something thats damn sexy for your windowed rig and G.Skill can't be arsed to make sure they have plenty of PCBs around. Manufacturers make a killing on the amount of money us enthusiasts throw at them (inflated prices etc), least they can do is not use nasty green PCBs. I'd even like manufacturers to offer more PCB colours for memory, maybe white, blue and red.
I bought them too!
Today: 2600k
Tomorrow come...

I don't know if this weekend I will do tests... but... I WILL DO!
ByE!
Iv had this kit for a week now,I figured people already new about them.mine are doing the same.Im at 1100 so far with tight timings and stock voltage!trying to push them for a 28000 mem shot
Are these the best rams atm for SB? is it worth getting two sets for 8GB or is 4 enough? Are max clocks reduced with four sticks in?
Cheers.
There one of the best at the minute Have got some more coming next week! But 4GB is fine not sure if it will be reduced with 4 sticks thou!
Its the only ram Iv tested, buts its probably the best ram you can buy for 149 on the 4gb kit.
Im running into blck limits and thats whats holding my board back.
sandy bridge and these are a dream.
Im on a 26 dollar air cooler I got from best buy and a fully closed case with fans that you can barely hear and Im stable at 5100mhz and benching at 5300.Im afraid to push the volts any higher since some people are reporting the chips are dying.
Im at 1.5 now on full load and it idles at 1.1 ish
I will answer this question: today come 2 kits (8GB).
I don't know if I will do this weekend... but when it's done, you will know
ByE!
I just ordered another kit also :)
give me a day
just got back from holiday lol
got some pi 2300 C8 , 2k C6's , mach extreme 2300 C8's sitting here
so far been running two sticks from my corsair dom gt's 2k 8-9-8-24's and they are doing 2133 7-10-7-27 1.5903v (dmm read on load) 1.6v set on mIV
wont be suprised a lot of the 1600 C6's kits that mushkin has will also rock.
ripjaw X chips arent that new.
I got some Gskills installed today, they are the F3-17000CL9-2GBXMD models, basically the step down from these, but at 1.5v and 9-11-9-29-2t. Using the XMP profile they were set at 9-10-9-28-2t. I am running two kits for 8gb total and had to increase the voltage to 1.55v. All I can say is that Gskill is selling some impressive ram kits right now. Here is a screen shot:
http://img189.imageshack.us/img189/7...3mhzram.th.jpg
I haven't tried to tweak them since I just got them installed, but for $200 ($99.99 for each kit), I think they are pretty impressive.
1204. I did have some issues getting it going at first. It wouldn't post with 4 sticks. I then removed my PERC5i card from the x4 slot and it posted. I got all the settings configured and then put the PERC5i card back in and it posted with no issues. Haven't had any issues since. Just an FYI, my voltage settings for VCCSA (.90v) and VCCIO (1.0v). DIMM voltage had to be set to 1.55v before it was stable at the XMP profile with 4 sticks.
Im waiting for a new bios,I see you have the cl9 kit, mine are the cl7 and run at 1.65 volts stock.
I have them running at 9-10-9-27 2t now at 2200 mhz and its sad that I can run 7-10-7-25 1t at that speed when they are only 2 sticks.
I guess its not that bad.Im getting almost 26000 reads in aida64 with slower timings vs 27500 with tight timings.
board is very picky with my ram.
New update on mem!Got new bios today and even better results! 1.74Vdimm
http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b1...272MhzCas6.png
Jeeez,Maximus clocks memory as hell...Great Hynyx chips :D
Incredible clocks...
Thanks really impressed with lastest beta bios 1090! Just gotta get the timing abit better looking for 6-10-6-24 1T!
CL6 at 2100+Mhz, isn't that faster than the best Hypers like the GTX2s? Could this RAM run this fast in a triple channel config on a X58, or would Hypers still be king there?
Pscs cas seem to clock a lot better on this platform but the trcd on the hypers are better, seems like hypers still are king on 1156/1366
Hey, I received a set of these today from memoryC but I cant even get superPi 32m to pass at 2133-7-10-10-27 1.65v, Im memtesting now.
I couldnt run them too at stock on my asrock p67 extreme6,i had to run 8-10-10-2T at 1.65V to gain full stability. But on my Biostar thing went better 7-10-7-1T with 1.6V rock stable :) Probably on Maximus will kick ass :D
nah man memtest locked up 7 mins in ... something odd going on, or my asus doesnt like them ....
Edit: Its OK memtest doesnt like my KVM, it passes now if I leave it alone .... testing further .....
Could be bad batch of memory had send them back!
I know it off the topic but has anyone tryed these with a sandy! F3-19200CL8D-4GBPID
OK it passed memtest up to 2200-7-10-10-27 but its very unstable in windows at voltages it liked with my other rams (Kingston HyperX T1 2000) so its not happy at all ......
Yeah there is something weird going on here, the ram passes memtest up to 2200-7-10-10 but the system is unstable at any cpu settings (just testing default now to be sure) ... it looks like it just doesnt like this ram ...ffs ....
It has a ram multi for 2133 at 100 bclk, and needs 103.2 bclk for 2200, with my other rams and same cpu it is stable to 105.1 and my other cpu was stable to 106.2 or so.
Edit: Yep unstable with cpu at stock, ram at 2133, now testing 1600....
Edit2: Ok it seems to be stable at 1600, testing 1866, still not good though. has anyone else had issues with these rams?
Edit3: now this is looking a little different, my system is unstable with cpu at any clocks while the ram is on 2133 multi so is this looking like a compatibility issue?
Bro - what timings should I run these rams at if Im stuck with 1866 multi? I can get them to about 1950 so should they run 7-7-7 ?
At 1866 mine run at 6-9-6-24 1.67V at 1866
1950 about 1.7v!
Mine bsod at 1866-8-8-8
:(
It will do the stick dont like TRCD lower than 9 on these sticks!
Mine clock high so maybe its your bios or board? Im done benching them because im running 4 sticks now and my board wont post anything less that 8cl with all 4 sticks,Im waiting for asus to put out a new bios.
I'm thinking of getting either the 17000C7/17600CL7 or 17000CL8 kit for my P8P67 Pro.
All of them 'seem' to 'clock about the same.
Would you recommend any particular one of them and what can i expect in terms
of speed vs timings at around 1.6 - 1.65 VDDR ?
I did some testing today..with this kit :D
A was able to run them :
/@800 6-7-6-27@1.64v
/@930 7-8-7@1.64v
/@1066 7-9-7@1.66v
How much Qpi/vtt is needed for 1066??Because they are not stable at tose clocks (7-9-7-27 @1.66 from bios)
So far my setup seems nice and stable at 4.6Ghz 1.26v with ram at 1909-7-9-7 for 24/7 clocks but of course I would like to use these rams at their rated speeds as so far they offer no performance gain over my Kingstons at near half the price.
What program do you guys use to set ram timings on the fly?
Also, has anyone had problems with these on Asus motherboards? My first set of these had a faulty stick, now the new ones have arrived and they memtest fine but Im getting weird symptoms of instability even at 2133 and now down to 2100. Im about to try another set of rams but its looking pretty bad for these.
:)
Hey bro2000,can you set 6-9-6 at 2133 with 1.75V and boot?I have a strange issue with maximus, they will scale with 6-10-6 till 1.8V and reach high speeds, but with TRCD9 they wont post at 1.72+,just stuck at 2F memory code?
Get same results with 6-9-6 at 2133 now with new bios!
GSKILL RipJawsX F3-17600CL7D-4GBXHD Review
;)
It's in Greek..but you can see the Charts/Results.
Hi, anybody running 8GB of these? I'm considering a second kit for my Max4X but I'm not sure what it will do for my clocks... Will I be able to maintain DDR2200 C7-10-10-27 T1 on [Auto] 1.647V? Tx!
OK, tested 4 dimms & all I can say now is: DON'T DO IT.. stay away, save your money & get a 2x4GB 1866 C9 kit instead, because 4 of these dimms can not do that on my M4X..
On the other hand, my new kit is a tad faster than my older kit, so I'm keeping these ;):
http://i.imgur.com/KT4i1.png
nope 8GB's do not work at rated speeds
Just got a set of these yesterday, haven't had a ton of time to play with them but got to 2133 7-9-7-24-1T w/ 1.65v, going to see if I can get up to around 2200.
I have two sets of these sticks that play nice with my ud5.
FEV
is that 4sticks? or 2sticks?
About 1.7v though the other settings I would need to quickly look up again as that system is off right now and I don't remember.
These look exactly the same as my kit, however mine are rated for 2133mhz CL7. I've pushed mine up to 2150 CL7 and no problem at 1.6v. I wonder if i should try 1.7v for CL6... Im scared. Goob job G.SKILL, these look like winners. :)
Same sticks
1.7V
http://content.hwigroup.net/images/u.../013838-12.jpg
Nice!
I got mine to that + a little above and with a few 32m tests it looked like tightening my timings (at least the 3rd one and 4th one) didn't seem to impact my time at all, it actually was slower in a couple of the runs. I currently have them sitting at 7-10-9-27-1T @ 1.65v and it seems plenty happy, got them up to 2286 (1143 in CPU-Z [107x21.3 multi].
Boot-up at 5.38GHz, 1.7vdimm, ran spi32m at 6m11.125s :)
