As for CPU-Z reported speeds you will need to open 6 of them and set each one to a different core. That should mess up your desktop but at least you will know which core is doing what and at what clock :p:
But yes, it would be easier if CPU-Z could show just 6xCPU clock in one window.

CPU score is awesome Mad, almost 8K! Windows 7 or Vista will show a lower CPU score but it is a lot better than deneb!

Looks like the cards you have are no reference design, so it's not possible to raise Vgpu by MSI AfterBurner, or is it?
I don't think the bend heatpipe will hurt performance much, did you try to gently bend it back some?

A 1090T seeing the same relative (to stock clock) performance would be topping out around 5Ghz on air. That seems unlikely, but so did getting the 1055T to 4.4Ghz.

There is no reason to think that 1090T will be clocking much better than 1055T.Its the same chip.Could be better binned tho.So maybe 100-200mhz more on average.Or nil ;-).It will be easier to clock though.

Andi64: im with you. But overall is Thuban great OC potencial. OC 1055T and 1090T is +- the same.1055 is harder to setings and can be problems with higher busspeed (not good version BIOS or lowend motherboard)
I'm also expecting 4, or hardly 4.1GHz Prime stable with high-end cooling and it would be even harder in a combination with high-speed DDR3 and high CPU-NB. Don't expect too much. It's better to be suprised by higher OC, rather than dissapointed, because your chip can't hit even 4GHz stable, and ofcourse you've expected 4.2 :) Hope that I'm not right, though.

(for me stability is 1hs OCCT linpack and 64b Windows, or at least a two hs. on prime95 blend).
There are at least two Thubans in the UK. Apparently they overclock very well even on budget boards. If the 1055T is priced right and routinely hits 4GHz they could replace the i5 750 as the midrange overclockers choice.Quote:

awesome sticks! have you tried slots 3&4 to see if it will run in dual channel? i think some other boards had alternate ram colors but still use 1&2 for 1 channel 3&4 for the other. otherwise you could maybe unscrew one of the heatsinks that stick up for slot 2 if you have to use 2&4 :shrug:Quote:
