Who has the Highest Memory PCMark2002 Score Here?

well yesterday I began asking about raptor drives, and was very impressed with the results people gave me (thanks everyone) but one thing consistantly amazed me.
thier Memory scores.
at the moment the highest I have seen is FUGGER with 11,900 on his ram score.
so I am wondering, how high can we really push some ram?
I like PCmark cause it gives a plain number score, but it's nearly impossible to get comparisons on the PCMark ORB cause the first 20 pages are completly flooded with fakes.

so I am wondering, who here at XS, has the highest memory score for PCmark?

Oppainter broke 12,000 on his top listing. I also have a 12k too

MrIcee is up over 11k as well

I have about 11600 BUT with my GeForce4 MX440........IF I put a better one on count down about 800 - 1000 marks more....... ;)

ive gotten 10,500 with my buddies pc3200 mushkin, macci hit 12040 which is the highest the program can go. ive seen pics of it.

btw im upgrading to some pc3500 hyper x, im hoping for a 5/4 ration @ 274. I looked at your results, nice job, it is off on my cpu speed as well.

I am at a lowly 10,693. One day I'll run with the big dog's!!;)

My best is 11,191, so far

An easy way to find the highest legit PCMark mem scores from the ORB is to use these settings:

the 260 1:1 would own everything if the CPU speed was a bit higher ;)

I can use softSFB to get 264 but something make the thing reboot in 3Dmark2002 -but different tests? it might succed to make 1 komplete run....

PS: look at Macci's great 12888 "video line 1" and "video linie 2" are very high the 5900 Ultra is pulling, its not the ram alone.

Yea I had to 'cheat' in a way and OC video mem too :D
the 12636 with ValueRAM and R9800 at 253FSB was a bit better run (Raw Block Write/Modify - 3072KB/1536KB - scores nicely over 2000). Having such a good run with HyperX at 260 and Ultra5900 would produce over 13k I think.

RootX, you got any special tweaks going on in there to get such great Raw block write/modify score? :)
it seems to go from 1800 to 2100 on mine even at same clocks...should prolly give P4P800 a go and see how it scores at these speeds

No special tweaks there Macci, just oc the 9800, but that is not supposed to add anything to the Raw block write/modify score, I think...
But looking at Tom's results, the scores are high as well.
Timings are 2-3-3-6.

Well, I've retested with 1:1, mem & timings are the same, and this is what I came up with

Doesn't the "alienware area 51" seem fake.

Lately I have told Nick Renqvist about the fake/cheat in 3Dmark2002 now the ORB top is clean.

With my new setup(P4 3.2GHz ES) and with Ram at 260MHz(Cas 2-5-2-2) in 1:1 and x16 multi, I got about 12447 with my GeForce MX440.......Now if I get a good VGA , I wonder how high will this be???...... :D

A friend of mine has borrow me a 5900 non Ultra VGA and I benched(Thanks RootX)......... :D :toast:

The VGA wasn't clocking very well.......Core=380MHz and Memory=940MHz ......BUT I did well I think....

I booted at 258.5MHz with 1:1 (CPU-Ram) with x16 multi on P4 3.2GHz ES and using setfsb,I benched at 262MHz fsb=Ram with Cas 2-5-2-2 .....

U should have clocked the albatron a bit more, 300 is the default core for 2d, 400 is for 3d, so a 435/945 was an easy task for this vga (it benched 3d marks at these speeds).

This one was with 289.3MHz fsb and Ram at 1:1(CPU:Ram) with x15 multiplier.......

Tommorow I'll bench "seriusly" and I'll see what can I do.....I'm going for 14500 points....... :D

Btw i can run at 295 1:1 @ 2.5 -3-4-6- turbo and enhance and i dont get 14k+ on abit or asus.
You need to tell me what youre doing different
Because 287fsb 1:1 on abit@ 2.5-3-3-7 should not even beat my 13500 score
at 272FSb On Asus 1:1 2-6-2-2.

Wont be long and the pcmark scores will start to look like 3dm2k1 scores, hehe.

I do not know what brand of Ram are you running.....Different Ram sticks give different scores......

About ASUS I can't tell you cos I haven't tested.......BUT as I see around , ASUS is a bit slower in performance than ABIT IC7-G one....... ;)

Be aware your Ram sticks NOT to produce serius errors at the frequency you work with them cos you get bad scores..... ;)

As for IC7-G one : Go like this...... : Cas(whatever cas your Ram needs to work propper) ..... Game Acc. : Auto - Normal - 5 clocks(or 6 clocks) - Enable - Disable ....... These settings where with GEIL modules......With my Kingston ones , there is a big difference in these settings......

I have giel-corsair-ocz-kingston-twinmos i have over 8gb of memory in front of me.
ANd no abit is not faster then asus at mem benching.
I say that and i love my abit and hate my asus.
But the asus does kill it in mem scores period ask macci on that one.
Im not being a sore loser either just being a bit confused that everything that macci and me no about these boards and mem benching just got thrown out the window buy youre test

NO way ASUS can beat ABIT on Mem scores.......Take a look at pi-fast and you'll see ABITs all the way up.......ASUS is about 1 sec back from ABIT......Also take a look at this unbuffered bench of IC7 one......Try to bench yourshelf with the ASUS one at the EXCACT same frequency as mine and at the same latencies and see the unbufferd resualts.......NO WAY that ASUS at the same frequency and latencies can beat ABIT....... ;)

I'll see at what frequencies I can bench 3DMark2001 with this VGA card cos I haven't tested yet ..It's not mine....I just borrow it.....Tommorow I'll go to work and I'll test it.....I'll post the resaults and the configuration of it..... ;)

IF I remember well(didn't got any screenshot) at 280MHz 1:1 I had about 6700+ MB/s S-Sandra buffered.....I'll bench this one tommorow and I'll keep you posted...... ;)

but as far as ASUS vs ABit goes.. yes Abit is faster than ASUS in 5:4 mode (not much thou. the hexus score I got at 4333 was with slow asus bios). But in 1:1 mode ASUS is atleast as fast Abit ;)

Dont base your purchase on this test.
The asus is just as good of board as the abit if not better.
