This is my new memory from Cellshock, a new brand from MSC, memory manufacturer in Germany.

What vdimm do you use?

At 2.4V it does DDR2-1200 CL4-4-4-5

How much does it cost ?

I've looked around a few german online shops and (including tax) they seem to be about 340 Euros for the PC2-8000 C4 version (which is the ones IcyRocket has here).

i also have a kit here - quick shot @ 2,45 on un-modded P5B Dlx - D9GKX is used with 8 layer PCB

according to my info first samples sent out came with www.MSC.de SPD and serial - newer ones to come with www.CellShock.eu partnumber in SPD

800 is D9GMH based
1000C5 has either D9GMH (mostly) or D9GKX
1000C4 is D9GKX based

On monday I will have these to test: Cellshock DIMM Kit 2048MB PC2-6400U CL4-4-4-12

the real voltage on the ram of p5b is higher than that read in the bios, generally to 2,4volt read in bios, they correspond 2,55-2,57v real.... ;)

test this with a multimeter, however good ram :D

My Pc8000c4 has a SPD of 6400, an error according to MSC has what they have me, I must recover weekend a new kit with the SPD of pc8000c4

also 1000 will have 800 SPD - JEDEC max ;)

but serial number will be added

I´m testing today on an Abit AWD9 Max mainboard with i975 chipset. I don´t know how it does on this chipset, we will see...:)

+1, there are manufacturers who don't hesitate has to select their best D9 and to make kits ultimate or to test a maximum of kit to send to the press, but it isn't the case of Cell Shock :toast:

DQ6 but mine seems to be completely bugged... gonna get a p5b dlx within the next few weeks.

I almost orderd mine. But after reading what you just said, those sticks are a no-go :(
Cant they just hit 500Mhz at those timings or is their overall overclocking behavoir a lot worse too.
More precisely, can they run as fast with cl3 as they can on a P5W?

Teaser: On ABIT A9WD-MAX and CPU:Ram = 1:1 they can do 458MHz (ABIT's "bug" for higher fsb) EASY with the 1066 strap and Cas 3 - 3 - 3 - 1 - 15us - 0T - 21 - 5 - 8 - 8 - 7 - 4 - 4.......
I have feed them up to 3.1Volts up to now and testing via DDR Maximizer......:D
