    News update wrt AVX/SSE5 . BD cores will fully support AVX while having an added bonus of XOP,CVT16 and FMA4 . This was confirmed by AMD's senior architect on AMD's devcentral and seems to be welcomed wholeheartedly by industry partners.
    BTW,SB will not have FMA(3) at all(which btw isn't even in AVX spec. but is detected separately).

    In germany you're legally allowed to drink beer at the age of 16 (wine, vodka etc at the age of 18). But that doesn't mean nobody drinks alcohol before being of age...

    isn't there a site which said nehalem can use like 230 watts max and that on 1.1 volts?

    heat and wattage are still come to core design and silicon not just voltage.
