Nice!!! I have an 4870 x2 on my Christmaslist LOL...some reason I doubt my wife will get it.
I just found my answer for the 4870x2 finding in my case on the green one, sweet. now I got $440, I just need a little more now. damn it lol
my chip dose better in 32 bit I tried Xp on old HD and I got 3.2ghz at 1.45 volts, with no ACC.
The only thing I really ran on it while doing those speeds was prime95 for stability. The Gimps testing does an average iteration time for every 10000 iterations, and since it was very memory intensive it was working as fast as a 9600 at 2.9/2.3 or whatever the exact settings are for that on a regular 9600 and not BE.
I messed my post up lol... the one I ment to say the 140w would run stable 3.4ghz 1.55v in win xp 64, and 3.4ghz @ 1.47v win xp 32
Right Now I have 3.3ghz 2200HT 2200NB CPU at 1.4v Ram is 1066 2.15v all else stock v's. Win XP 32 passed all night.. I am rolling Win XP 64bit as of this morning...so far so good.. I do not have vista 64 to test though
Heya charged. What settings you found stable under x64 OS?
LOL.. wel it is not longer stable...I threw large FFT's at it.. it lasted 5mins...I blame my ram.. as if I run the Intel burn test at mac RAM, It fails..even at 3.2ghz,, but is I pick it manually and set it to 1200MB ram used it passed 10 loops with ease... Now with my 9950 140w it would clock stable at 1.47v in Win XP 64bit, but not in Win XP 32bit
3.4ghz at 1.4 volts try that in 64 bit :P hehe.
