This board is something else. I was able to put my old 478 coolermaster master copper on it and the reappers fix. I have a bad set. We try and get a RMA but you know how that goes. The two sets of Ballastics (pc2-6400) I have are working great. It must have been the old board (an abit a9n32 fallity think) just a bad board. Even at stock it was crapping out. Many, many problems.

I got a 8500GT if I need it. I got 5.x something with it under Vista. Will try it maybe and see what it gets. Vista number are just a bunch of crap anyway. I think they are tring to get you to buy from one of there partners. I only have a 19 wide and would not get anything larger than a 22w. I'm not a gamer. Maybe I will get back into Fight Sims again so that would be able the same as first person.

I been able to hit 3.2 with this Jetway and my X2-5400BE and stock voltage with only a 1C rise. The AMD tool works on this board. It passes the stability tool. Will Prime32 and see what happends. It think 3.3 or 3.4 will be the limit. Don't want to blow out the chip or board. Got to run.
  2. I think the X3 720 is the PII to get right now. Amazing performance. Also, you can find the 4850s for close to $125 if you follow some of the promotions. But the 4830 or even 4670 would be great if your monitor isn't too big.

The onboard is pretty good though, depending on what you want to do. For games, I dunno if its got enough juice to run any decent games, but I've had pretty good luck with Hybrid Crossfire too, so you could get a cheap 4550 (not 4350) and run it in conjunction with the onboard. I can get close to 4.6 graphics score with Vista when running the onboard with only a 3450 (oc to the 4550 speed) in Hybrid Crossfire.

Great! Got one coming today. It seems that only Egghead has them. Nice to know its not the fault of the board. I'm going to get a couble extra bio chips just in case. Should not be a major until the x2 PhIIs. Thats what I'm going with I think. I didn't like what what was said on the thread on here about them. I can afford the sub $150 for a new chip. $150 - 200+ range is a bit more for me right now. Will get a 3870 with ddr3 if I'm not happy with the onboard. I have a 8500gt so it should be about the same. Just don't want to spend the $75 range when just a little more will get you a good card. I think a 4000 something with gddr4 can be had for the $150 range. Will see what happends.
  4. Its on its way back from RMA at the moment, so I do not have it in my possession. I've been using the Xigmatek S1283 (which is huge!) and have had no problems with clearance, but I have not been using Reapers, so not sure about clearing their heatsinks as well. The Reaper heatsinks are pretty big (I have 2 sets in my Asus gamer rig) and the do interfere with just about everything

The Jetway for me has been absolutely awesome. It died on a bad BIOS flash when my floppy drive had convulsions.... Its been rock solid otherwise. The quality has been totally impressive, as has Jetway's attention to detail and aggressive pace of BIOS updates. When you call Jetway, a human answers the phone, and the tech support dudes are just great, and very good natured.

Just wondering about your thoughts on the Jetway board you have/had. I am looking for a board that will work with a x2 5400 BE or 7750 Kuna one for now and a PHII AM3 a little later on. I also have 4 Ocz PC2-9200 reapers. Also if you still have the board, can you measure the distance between the cpu clip thing and the first memory slot? I want to pick up a good cooler later. Thanks
