    My 4870 is a Connect3D 4870 from eddy.
    Is the Asus BIOS compatible with my card?

    My Connect3D card has a really BAD fan profile in stock form.
    Spins at around 9% and reaches around 75 degrees idle.

    Do these BIOS work with any reference and non-reference cards?
    Also, how do I check out my own fan profile like you did? (what app?)"

    I have the same card as yours,Connect3d 4870 512mb,and I just flashed it like this thread http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=270097 and I killed the card,I got new one same card yesterday and Im afraid to flash him.can you help me with this please and tell me what bios ver. did you use on your card and guide to flash?
