SF is a long story. The story was that it was being abused by anti-semites and racists. I think that's bull, but obviously that was the minority opinion.

I don't know why you think I wanted to hear war stories. I grew up watching Vietnam on the evening news so it's not a real preoccupation.

I figured I'd post here rather than the toonami thread. Praise for the Iraqi's huh? I thought the jarhead motto was 'see the world, meet strange, interesting people and kill them.' Haha. Just kidding. That's an moldie oldie but I like it. In western countries we still understand what it means to have a sense of community, but you go someplace like Iraq and you realize where that came from. Your family and your village really were your entire world so you treated everyone with respect.

You told me once before but I don't remember - your tour is 12/14 months or something like that? Do you think you'll make a career out of it? Will I have to start calling you gunny? Have you picked up any skills that would help you in the private sector?
