  1. Since you do not allow to receive PMs, I will have to reply here :p

As far as I know the 3GB variants from EVGA are the only cards which still use the reference layout so you should have no problem when using our blocks with them.

That's why we are all here, to share ideas , tips etc... I would await P45 release sir...
I preordered the Asus P5Q Dlx and hope to have it in a few weeks, but we Belgians are usually the last country on this earth to ever receive a new mobo...

DFI boards are well built but their bios is sooo complicated to tweak that many users finally give up... I don't like it as they also use other naming so sometimes it's pretty hard to compare unless there's a real DFI thread... Look at this 4 pages of settings pfffffff :

Dunno what the retail price is for the DFI but that P45 Asus board will cost me 160 euros and it will do 1600FSB out of the box too, combined with the 10 multi giving me a total of 4Ghz and if I can believe first tests at rock steady voltages... Ofcourse some bios updates will let this board mature more...and enhance overclocking... but it has got nothing to fear of it's DDR3 high end brethern... If DDR3 was cheaper I would go there but I would rather have 4gigs to mess with all the time....

    Greetz Sir
