I can't speak for nikhsub1, but there is a few reasons I actively use my Storm G5 on my Quad Core,
1 - Free antimirobial, kills all the nastys and germs, and keeps my water sparkly clean.
2 - Its performace, while not the best on a Quad is still one of the best (its still up there anyways).
3 - It means I can save money by not having to buy a new block when I can simply use one I already have :P.
4 - Its got a special place n my heart, realitvely few were ever made, its a rare peice, and does nto desurve to relgated to a musem piece which is spoken of, seen, but not used.
5 - It makes me feel special being able to say to my friends I have a hand made block that beats the ass off most comercial blocks :P
6 - I pretend its Cathers fabled Storm G7 that he may yet make one day and that it beats all world records in the water cooling world :P

Hi Nik,

I just noticed in your profile that you still have your G5 listed. I happen to own one as well and was curious (I have not used it in a looong time) how you think it stacks up to some of the current blocks (like the bowed fuzion). Is there a reason you still use it (like free antimicrobial)?
