MSI said no dice, so I sent it back for an Intel board. Sucky support on that board.

how's things going with your K9ND Speedster? I had to send mine back to MSI for repair cos I broke off one of the CPU pins - D'OH! In the meantime, I've started hacking the BIOS. First Priority is adding Athlon64-FX support

Question. I have this old enameled cast iron tub I broke up in our house. (Remodeling bathroom)
I want to melt it down to make cast iron cylinders for transformer cores and cast iron discs for a generator. I plan to make a solar furnace. My question is, what gas should I use to prevent oxidation of the molten iron from the atmosphere?
nitrogen or something more nobel, like argon?
