When is INTEL launching the 980x MIke?

The new 980 will provide a little higher score for sure. Nothing mayor, since most of the test are not going to take advantage of the additional cores, but a test like PC Gaming 2 can utilize the 12 threads. Have Performance Monitor open once to see how many threads each subtest uses. Can be very useful in many benches.
Hopefully we will see a bit higher clocks. I fully expect to see 4.7ghz and higher on some cpus

Yes, pcmark vantage is very addictive!
Yes, I have been trying to move higher - will continue to try - would the new i7-980 provide a higher score?
More threads but probably no higher clock than than the 4.5 I can do now.
Would pcmark vantage show an improvement in going from 8 to 12 threads?
