Actually I have been insanely busy, hence I rarely find time for XS these days.

Coward, not allowing one to answer in visitor message..

1. Wrong, and as I mentioned; simmtester, you can read about it at www.simmtester.com - its plain simple, plug in a DIMM, select timings, select voltage, select frequency, stress it and read results live on monitor, through a USB cable... - Couldnt be easier...
2. I havent got a SIMMtester myself, since they're 11000 Euro or so... Yet 1400mhz DDR3-2800 has been possible for some I've been told... And that was almost a quater ago!
3. I dont have any contract with G.Skill, dont know where you get that idea.... Im studying full time, I dont have the effecient time.. He starts out his thread as if its purely his result, not on behalf of the company he is working at... Then why shouldnt it be in his interest, he burns for the sport as well - and its not like it would hurt Corsair bigtime for the public to know what IC's yields the better, plus, result wouldnt mean much, as it varies alot from IC to IC, and most users wouldnt care, as main concern is what manuf puts as specs...

1. it seems you have never used or even seen an IC tester and your idea of how it works is very naive
2. as far as i know there are no chips that can run ddr3 3000 stable, not even close!
3. even IF there were such chips, and corsair would bin them... what makes you think bachus, who works for corsair, would tell YOU, who is related to gskill, or even make this public?

again, if i pssed you off im sorry, that wasnt my intention.

Or that's because, you had that " vs " thing with Sascha already (whether it's only the voltage that kills ddr3, or not ), and you guys are in a constant battle ... You have to solve it yourselves, and the reason that that should happen is stated in Jody's thread - my last post
