Well, I probably shouldn't say that it is bad, but there appears to be very little information about this particular batch, or any recent batches for that matter. I don't have a X58 motherboard at the moment (still using my E8400 and X48), so I can't see how well it overclocks. I bought it knowing that if was a poor batch I'd just unload it on eBay for a small profit and go hunting for a proven overclocking batch (3845 and 3849, mainly), or wait for the 930 and hopefully a new stepping.
