The only thing I really ran on it while doing those speeds was prime95 for stability. The Gimps testing does an average iteration time for every 10000 iterations, and since it was very memory intensive it was working as fast as a 9600 at 2.9/2.3 or whatever the exact settings are for that on a regular 9600 and not BE.
You mentioned 2.7 HT and NB on a PHenom.. thats buts.. how was it in running apps..?
