Good morning Mike, Thanks for getting back. Yes, pcmark vantage is very addictive! Yes, I have been trying to move higher - will continue to try - would the new i7-980 provide a higher score? More threads but probably no higher clock than than the 4.5 I can do now. Would pcmark vantage show an improvement in going from 8 to 12 threads? Thanks, Steve
