charles explained that well, i would also recommend what you can afford if you had purchased the lens kit for the D60, you will already have the third 18-55 which is more then a good start, after shooting for a while youll find what you like more, then you can move to a different lens, i tended to like wide shots, and is saving for a good wide and a fisheye.. (wont have any arms left to shoot pictures then..) but it will be worth it. i would take charles advice as he has a very good opinion. evil
