  1. Hey man,
I followed your advice here: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...79044&page=116, and I set my Q6600 to 800MHz FSB, 6x multiplier = 1200MHz at 0.9V core. At idle Real Temp 3.00 reported distance to TJ Max as 64C, 64C, 68C, 65C, when the room temperature was 26C.

I believe this basically shows that TJ Max of my Q6600 is around 90C, but I'd be very happy to hear your opinion.

    Side information:
I have a pretty good Noctua cooler with a push-pull setup.
At idle, the third core has always reported 3C lower and the fourth 1C lower than the 1st and 2nd, but under load, the temp difference is virtually gone.
The VID of my CPU is 1.200V. The beast can run benchmarks at 4.0GHz with 1778MHz FSB at 1.39V (on air) but I keep it at 3.7 GHz at 1645MHz FSB at 1.36V.
A few times at around 3.7GHz, I let it get burnt with the Intel Burn Test and the BSOD with hardware error shows up when it hits 5C to TJ Max.

Thanks for your time and the wonderful product you created! Kudos, really!
