We are trying to help people learn how to calculate DT so they choose the right rad etc. Where we are stuck is trying to explain these new CPUs are HOT. I mention the numbers are all over the place but I try to put some actual numbers up but they could be wrong. I mention a Q6600 at 3.9 is about 150 watts. I did read that somewhere. Any reference you know of? Also, I'm stating I'm using 250 watts on my i7 965 (stock speeds) as my basis for my CPU under load and 250 watts is what I need to cool. Am I way off base? Again, some links to educate me or we can use as reference for the sticky. We just need something to verify what our numbers should be, or at least a pat on the head, "Good Pig".
