well we thiiiink its becuase of load on nb, like with lower fsb on x48 it clocks fine.. 1000+ core no worries, you get to 630~ and your back at 950/970... doesnt seem to work the same way on some p45 boards..
no doubt looks like for the time being p45/x48+gx2 is still the platform for 01.. thanks man i really enjoy 01 i spent as much time on that as all other benchmarks combined looking forward to seeing what you come up with.. i think one has to decide either x48 with lower gx2 clocks but big system power with ddr3 or p45 with lower system power but big gx2 clocks, both preety equal
