This probly will be the new standard since most new cpu already hit sub 15 seconds on 1M:)

Heres mine...

T2600 @262X13 - Aopen i975Xa - Kyosen's Tcore mod - Single Stage - OCZ 5400EB 2X512..
Vcore/Vmem - 1.6V/2.5V - Win XP no tweaks

Are you going to put scores in a list?

EDIT: just ran superpi2M on my dirty windows and daily use settings

you can check you scores here or submit them if you want, this is the biggest database of sp2m of southamerica+spain.

top scores are competitive :)

I doubt SP 2M will ever become a standard, we will keep trying SP 1M untill we get under 1 sec. This Should be doable with 8-16 cores... and by that time I think 32m wil be the standard.

lol, fugger is faster at 2M than many others in 1M!
this cpu is so crazy!

No kidding...

I would like to see 2M become the standard, but I dunno if it'd ever "come to be" these days.

Even with "up and coming" cpu's hitting 15s in 1M...the msec measuring is still enough to keep things competitve. I dunno, I still prefer 1M for speed/bench comparisons and 32M for stability testing...but I see where you're coming from Dumo...I just wouldn't dare run 2M on my current rig, let alone 1M. :p:

Nice Fugger:toast:
10 seconds faster means 500 more mhz for Yonah:)

Once conroe's go retail 2m will be standard.

Some people would hope so, but in terms of a brute force speed test, 1M will probably remain the test of choice with the ms results giving us the ability to have the majority of people hitting sub 20s times and some nearing sub 10s...even when retail cpu's are hitting 10s standard...there'll still be enough of a differential between results with the ms times that i dunno when things will/would ever change.

Only reason I can see for the change is that it doesn't seem like it's AS much of an accomplishment if EVERYone is within the same range of times, and you're ahead by a half a second, compared to being more then a full second ahead of said competition in a longer test such as 2M or 4M.

Yeah 2m will be standard as soon as conroe hits retail I bet.
