I got a 1k ohm VR today at radioshack but noticed that it was 1.25W instead of the recommended .75W at 8rda.com. I would like to know if it is safe to use this one with the higher watts.

It's perfectly fine. More wattage just means it can handle more current going through it, but it doesn't change anything else, so you can use it.

Heh, I know I said I'd be back in a month but the power/cooling situation in this new apartment is keeping me from getting my duallies running. :(

I haven't forgoten team 3365!

I have a 1/4 watt 20 turn VR.... Just wondering weather 1/4 watt isn't a little light.

it dosent matter, its not a fuse so your not really gonna stop it from putting out too much power, and it dosent put out much power in the first place, so you dont need a high rated one. Any wattage is fine.

meh, more 8rda.com crap  :p
