View Full Version : BIX III w/ 74cfm fans, or BIP III w/ 74cm fans
I found a BIX III rad for 49.99, and its a great deal, but is it worth it if i only have x3 74cfm fans to hook up to it? or should i just get a BIP III, although i hear it preforms worse

backwards bro, bip III with fans @ 7V will run better than bix III with fans @12V, I experienced similar phenomena with bixII vs bipII. And I've seen bipIII for 29.99, I think directron has em

i say get the bix. it has higher potential. put another set of fans on it later for some good static pressure and performance.
and if you say fans at 7v on bip2 outperform same fans at 12v on bix2, then those most be some weak a$$ fans.

Two different fans Evercool 120mm Aluminum 80cfm and Delta WFB1212H 74cfm fans same exact situation. Even my Delta AFB1212SHE 150+cfm fans didn't make a marked improvement with my BIX II but made me feel like my gf was blowdryin her hair under my desk :bananal:

I run the BIX III with 50cfm fans in push/pull and temps did not get worse compared to a double Heatercore....so yes, the price directron charges is great and I would get the BIX.

thats because theyre both high-cfm rads. if youd tried core and bip youd have seen a difference.
