In my opinion, Kingston hasn't had anything worth mentioning in their lineup since they lost BH5. Their TCCD based sticks were generally nothing more then average, especially against what companies like OCZ and G.Skill were offering.

This new 2GB set intrigues me, I wonder what chips they use. I'd say Infineon, but they haven't been known to get lower than 2-3-2. So then I'd say Micron, but -5B F has been a crap shoot for 2-2-2, and -5B D is only on the now discontinued 2GB Ballistix line from Crucial. So I'm confused.

i think something was mentioned about BGA infineon chips

if kingston was willing to answer my calls, i'd know more :(
