Finished spring cleaning for the most part. I gave the body/paint a 6-step process. The glass, wheels and tires are NOT cleaned in these pics. Car is de-badged (for now) and the side molding is gone.

All by hand...

The "Trans Am" outline is still there, I left it as a place holder for now:

Dirty wheels and no tire shine...

The curve in the door makes me look even shorter ;)

Crystal clear...

And my favorite...

And you think you have wheel gap!

There is more to come, including !mud flaps (wheels have to come off for this), tips, tint, and some new stainless stuff.

The whole car is a mirror now, you can basically see everything in the paint even me walking, and the sky on the hood...

NOOOO mudflaps...

and if your saying ur windows and wheels are not cleaned, you would cry if you saw my car... I've had it for 6 months and never cleaned it...

They really aren't that big but they do detract from the car and my tires rub on them so they gotta go.

Just to show you what I mean...here is a CLEAN wheel and dirty car...just the opposite...

You will want to keep the mudflaps.... unless you like repainting the rockers and part of the rear fenders every so often..

You inspired me.

I spent 8h today washing, CLAY BARRING, and waxing.

Darn thing is I finished so late, I don't know how good it looks. :-)
That is a lot of work. I spread mine out over a weeks time and didn't spend more than 4 hours a day.

I had those tires stock and they do not hook up at all. It may be a good tire, but not for traction.

I have Nitto NT555R Drag Radials now in the rear (315/35/17). I can still spin them pretty easy but its a very big improvement over the stock tires. Even after my 3600 stall they hook a ton better than the stock tires did with a completely stock car if that says anything.

In the front I have 275/40/17 Nitto NT555 Extreme Performance tires.

Sorry to change the subject but can you take your car to the Dealer for an Oil Change :) , it might take them around 1-2 hrs if your Vin number is listed on the recall :toast:
Don't ask them about the recall because GM is still going through an issue with 183 customers that hit the GM warning sit last week

What is the recall?

I wouldn't have them do an oil change, because I pick my own oil/filter...
