The only 2200's I've seen, were engineering models and preorders. I'll email some friends.

OPP:)

I'm thinking of trying to get some contact points at AMD. As of right now I haven't had much success....but it might be to our benefit, especially if they know we could put them on the map at MadOnion with T-Breds. If you know anyone that may have a marketing contact...let me know..I'm willing to write a letter or make calls.:)

MrIcee,

Will do, not sure at this point who to contact. But you would deffinitly be the best man for the job to write to these folks. I'll ask around and see If I can get some AMD contact names and e-mail addys for you:)

Count me in for a 2200 if you find them. I'll keep an eye out here as well (Toronto, Ontario, Canada) and surrounding area. I can't wait to see what OPP can do with one of these chips. 2300-2400MHz maybe...

We shall see! I remember the consensus saying March, May, and then June 10th! I'll believe it, when I see it in my hand.

I still might wait awhile for the better steppings.

Yeah haha I ordered one from McGlen when they said "We will have the procs MID-JULY." I removed my order though hoping to find it elsewhere.

OPP...thanks, It's good to be here. So far on my end, I've emailed 4 stores so far and I've gotten one response....

"Hi sir,

I'm hoping sometime this month. It could take slightly longer but we should see them soon."

Waiting for the others to respond tomorrow.

This is where i stand - its just too early to expect a good oc yield, i need to see 2.3ghz numbers before i jump.

Hello, freeloader.

A bit off-topic, but I noticed your XP1600+ stepping in your sig.

Never saw a AGLHA b4. How's she OC? What voltage does your 1.75GHz OC require?

Thanks :)

CBWnet (http://www.cbwnet.com/) will supposedly have the OEM Thoroughbreds in mid-June.

N8....it takes 2.1 Vcore to run 1750 MHz perfectly stable. Looping 3dmark 2001 se, Prime 95 etc..... It's an older core and from what I've seen it's very rare.

Yeah, I'm hopefully getting a better core tomorrow. Looking to trade a friend some old equipment and my 1600 for his AGOIA Y 2000.

ALERT!

I just got the magazine "Computer Shopper", and in the pc progress ad in the back, they had the 2200+ listed for $259! But it's not on their website! So, imma call them on Monday and see what's up. I will be picking one up for sure if it's there. Btw, let's not pass this info out. I dun wanna be f*cked out of getting one if it is indeed a Tbred! :)

I fear that some of those XP2200+ advertised are still palomino cores. You know amd planned to release such a processor, but they obviously cancelled that. Anyway rumor has it that some of them might have been sold out to resellers.

Here in Switzerland I have found a store that sells the XP2200+, it says available in 2-3 days. I've inquired about that, I let you guys know what the buggers answer :)

259 sterling +vat but they claim that it is the Palomino...
If it was the palomino, that would make it the most expensive Xp in history...LOL

Bah. One should really hate AMD for putting out both a palomino and a t'bred XP2200+ :D
