I won a xbox in a DOA3 contest, and i'm in a student room so i don't have a tv but only a pc. My vid card has vivo but the pic doesn't look really good, is there a way to get a better pic, more sharp? What if i buy an S-video cable?
How can i get 5.1, do i have to buy a new cable?

Theoreticly it should work as long as you connect it correctly to the video in.

As far as the audio you will need to get a adapter to convert to the mini in jack on your sound card.

I've put the cable in the line in of the game theater but i can't get 5.1 sound that way so i'm thinking buying the advanced kit.
I have a picture but it's a bit blurry and shaky, i was thinking that maybe with the S video in i would get a better pic than with the composite, can you tell me if it's true?

Gonna be tough to get a decent display from that, If your Electronically inclined you can build a VGA adapter, plans available at various places, a google search should produce results...

Alternatively If your unable to build one they can be purchased plug and play...... The cheaper ones are not true vga display adapters but still produce acceptable results....
