Does anyone here have experience shipping cars from the USA to Canada? I'm looking at a 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T on eBay, and the shipping companies are slow getting me a quote. Just wondering if anyone knew approximately how much it would cost. It would be shipped from michigan to british columbia.

Can't you fly to the USA with for that money and then drive the car back to Canada? It should be cheaper and maybe you could make some sort of vacation of it ;)

I would, but I'm only 16, so I'd have to have one of my parents with me to drive it.

Alright, quick update. I found a car for sale down in Tacoma, WA. My parents are going down to Seattle next weekend, so I may be able to get them to drive it back. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with customs, as in, what sort of stuff you have to do to bring a car over the border.

Erm keep the drugs at home and you should be good. I've never crossed but i don't think it's a particularly big deal, anyone know?
About the car, 2-3K to ship it is obscene, definitely go with your parents and drive it back up.
