you should check out the sticky in extreme bandwidth section, it gives a list of ddr2 ram and identifies the chips on them if they can. they dont sell fatbody D9 new anymore, you would have to buy used.

I would say the fallowing would be a good choice:
1-G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2 667 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820231051).
2-pqi TURBO 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2 667 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820141211). I'm a bit skeptical about this kit now but......See Link (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=77672)
3-Patriot 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2 667 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820220095).
4-OCZ Gold Series 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2 667 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820227047).
5-CORSAIR XMS2 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2 675 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820145015).
Being that I only use Corsair memory, I'd go for the #5 but that's a heck of a lot of money, then again Corsair memory is #1 in my book. But the OCZ is not looking bad at all, so I'd say the OCZ.

There is a pretty good review of G.Skill's DDR2-6400 (800mhz) somewhere in the bandwidth section which run for about $240 for a 2gig kit.
mushkin eXtreme Performance DDR-667 run around $300 those seem to be favorite among many.
The crucial ballistix are a bit more and seem to be in same catagory as the mushkin xp's.
There is a review of the OCZ PC8000 EE memory sticks ($500+) over at anandtech and the Ballistix/XP's seem to be the sticks of choice for comparision against the OCZ beast.

lots of benchmarks to help you make a choice.
But I dont know I'm not an expert :-(
If you don't need DDR1000, Try the Crucial Ballistix AA804 or AA663, They can do 3-2-2-X and 4-3-2-X tight timing, Though it hard to do DDR1000 stable.

If it's for Conroe... I'd get some DDR2-1000 if you can afford it or at least some G.Skill DDR2-800.
