I really didn't know in what sub-forum to make this thread, so I threw it in hear since better cooling = better overclocks...

For all of those asking what's the best thermal paste? I think I have found the answer.

"Coollaboratory Liquid Pro is the first thermal interface material to consist of 100% liquid metal. The metals in Coollaboratory Liquid Pro remain at a liquid state at ambient room temperature. This unique composition allows Coollaboratory Liquid Pro to transfer heat eight times faster than conventional thermal paste." -SVC (http://www.svc.com/coolab.html)

More often than not, the bottleneck is not at the thermal paste, but at how fast you can make heat dissapate from the heatsink into the air. Other problems of using liquid metal compounds is that they're usually corrosive and conduct electricity very well. I remember someone on this forum doing actual tests with another kind of liquid metal compound and found little improvement over AS5. It was there, but not worth the hassle.

it'd be pointless to get, i've seen similar products, and all they do is eat away at any metal.

That stuff looks dangerous if its both corrsive and conductive I would stay away.
