I have overclocked my Mobile AMD Sempron form 1.8 to 2.0 GHz using ClockGen because there was no option in the BIOS, however, whenever I reboot or the computer goes on stand by, the clock is reset back to 1.8 GHz. Is this normal and is there any way to keep it at 2.0 GHz? I have currently set the computer not to automaticly go on standby and only reboot for windows updates so I created a startup entry for ClockGen to remind me to re-overclock, however, I was wondering if there was any way to have it remember the setings. I am using the ICS 952618 clock generator.

The new version of clockgen doesn't support that yet. You'll have to find a DL for ICS 952618 clockgen.

ClockGen operates under OS and there ain`t any option to make it set recent clocks on each reboot by itself - at least the app doesn`t allow it. Maybe some script would make it possible.
