Japanese game behemoth continues to bank on its Final Fantasy franchise with six of the series' games at the show; new installments of Mana series and Valkyrie Profile will also appear.

its not always bad for companies to bank on popularity of sequels as long as their is diversity between them

Good to see they are finally releasing FFIII. Only FF game I really didn't like was VIII, other than that I love em all. Been a die hard fan ever since I played the first one on the NES in '90.

I played the 1st one too,although at that time I didn't like it,and I agree,FF8 was bad but I kinda liked it.Did you like FF tactics as well?

There are still more ps2 consoles out there than there are xbox 360's, x boxes and gamecubes combined. So as long as those owners are willing to buy games, games are going to be made.
And I'm really looking forward to FF XII, more than any xbox 360 or ps3 game announced so far.
