Ok so i got a remote panel that can start my computer, now this panel shorts the jumperson the mobo 1 time, now i want to make it so that itll keep on shorting it as long as i have pressed it, then to unshort it after i have rpessed it again. How can i do this?

I feel like a total noob, but i was thiking would a transitor do it? LIek i read that if i apply a small amunt of voltage to the middle leg, then the other legs with conduct larger amount of voltage? Low if this is true is the moddle leg a momentary shock? Or a non momentary?
