I have two 74Gb raptors in a raid 0 on my Asus A8N32-SLI Deluxe board. They are in the nvidia SATA 0 and 1 ports, and SMART is enabled in the bios. They are the C: drive and are working just fine, except they don't show up in Speed fan or any other SMART monitoring utility. I have a single 200Gb Seagate hooked up to SATA 2 that does show up in Speed fan.

Has anyone else had this problem? Or does anyone have any suggestions on a fix?

These drives seem to be running warm so I would like to be able to monitor them.

I don't have a screen shot of Speedfan or Everest, but here is one of the boot screen. It was taken before installing the 200Gb Seagate.

Any help would be appreciated?

someone just informed me form another thread that you can't monitor drives that are in a Raid. Seems like there sould be some way around this. How are you supposed to know how health they are. Are you supposed to wait until the drive fails before taking action?
