Ok im havin real trouble with these things. I jus set all my settings the same as G.S Tech dude says for 250Mhz. Got them at 260 with them settings at 2.7v. Im hoping to get at least 270 out of them so i can 1:1 with my opty

Upped the voltage to 2.8. Still cant get 260 out of these sticks... what a rip off. If i didnt need the extra capacity i'd switch back to my powerchip based SP3500 which did better than this

I dunno how much you guys pay for these things. But in england. These things come at a rather high premium. Yeah they do what it says on the pack. But thats it! No matter what volts, and a plethora of different timings iv tried. These things are very unhappy at doing anythin over 250... i always get the duds :'(

It's easy to blame the RAM when things don't turn out the way you expected.
Copying settings don't mean you have the right settings for your specific system.

If you run an Operon mess around with MAL/RP/Dram response time, the Opty's memcontroller seems a little picky.
