RAM channel/speed question

hey there, i have an intel D865GBF motherboard, and it supports single or dual channel RAM.... i have 1 stick of OCZ 1GB dual channel 3200 for memory.... in my mobo monitoring program it shows the RAM as 1024 and 400MHz (as it should be), but CPU-Z shows it as 1024 single channel and running at 200MHz.... attached screeshot so you can see

why is that?

clockfrequency and effective frequency is two different things.

PC3200 = DDR400 = 200mhz

DDR = Double Data rate = clock frequency * 2
