what's the advantage of having the o/s on one h.d. and all other stuff on another?
and is this accomplished easly?

So that if your OS gets hosed, it is a simplier fix to just format the OS drive and reinstall the programs.
and it is extremely easy to do, just install the os on one drive and add the storage drive.
