According to my calculations. Gas in usa is still cheap. Heres why
3.26 / 3.78500 = 0.861294584. 0.86cdn per leter. Here in Canada is $1.05 per leter. So going from the Canadian price into what it would be in priced the same in the usa, 0.92 * 3.78500 = 3.4822. So 3.48usd per galon here in Canada.

my local gas stations have 87,89,91, and 93. One station has something like 105 Octane, but it was like $5 per gallon when fuel was cheaper

Highest I've seen around here is $3.05. Lowest, $2.97. Last yr when Katrina/Rita hit, highest I saw was $3.49 :O

lol you guys use our cheap gas over there...

our unloaded is 91 octanes it costs at offcial exchange rate:

0.0372 $ per litre pretty cheap and i dont use that xD that sux we had 89octanes but we dumped and is comin 97 octanes at almost same price not even in dubai the pay that low for gas (but we dont hava nice city like dubai :( )

we also can find 110 octanes racing gas but you have to know some ppl that robs some ppl that robs some ppl xD

Maxxx....you can't get 95 Octane in CA. All they have out there is swill-gas. ;)

In my area in CT we can get 97 Octane at the pump at around a $.40 premium over 93 Octane (or it was that way two months ago....I actually haven't been home in awhile).

Gas prices aren't too bad in my area...under 3.20 for 93 Octane is good by me. The pump that's a Par5 from my house isn't even on the list though, they gouge like a mofo (but it's odd...my mom only goes there and her two cars have more miles (well, one does, the other car's a Sunday car), are older and are driven harder than my dad's cars and his have engine problems....and are Hondas, so maybe it seems it's worth it ;)).

Leviathan....Venezuela has its own refineries too, right? And how clean is the fuel? Octane is only part of the quality.

we have the biggest refinery in the world its called "El Palito" (little stick) it process 130k barrels per day, and they export gas to usa and the caribean and they keep with the nation demand

and the fuel is one of the cleanest you can find that is why we dont use anymore the 89 and we use the fuel without "plumb"

i think he means motorcycle. as i drive 57 miles to work, my bike gets 52 mpg. my car? about 18. its got to be raining pretty hard to get me off the bike.
