I can buy Sound blaster Live! 24bit for dirt cheap.
So is it worth buying SB live! or integrated Karayan on nF4 are better for games and MP3?
I never used any PCI based sound card except some ISA cards and SB128 on PCs without integrated sound.

Karajan will b better than SBlive.

o rly? I recantly inserted my SB Live! 24bit "digital" and everything sounds much clearer than the Karajan sound. That is atleast the impression I had.
If Karajan really is better I'll switch back in a flash.

Don't worry, Karajan on NF4 is far worse. I did sound tests several times and Karajan simply sounds muddy...
